Where Grace and Mercy Meet - Home | Facebook

Joining with the #Five Minute Friday group again this week, where we write on a one word prompt for 5 minutes. Today’s prompt is: Mercy.

A disposition to be kind and forgiving

Showing great kindness towards the distressed

Compassionate forbearance shown toward an offender

Kindness shown toward someone whom you have the right or power to punish

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Psalm 85:10

Jesus – where mercy and truth meet.

Jesus – where righteousness and peace are intertwined.

Jesus – our sacrifice, our redeemer.

Jesus only Jesus.

Thank you Jesus.

  1. He really could have made them dead
    by lighning, watched them burn,
    but He offered grace instead
for how else could they learn
    except through loving-kindness
    that could not be predicted,
to save them from a blindness
    that had been self-inflicted.
His offer rolls down through the years,
it’s life free for the taking,
a life that can transcend the tears
    of the devil’s making
and give to us, at the Cross,
the warmth and love that Adam lost.
